Our Assignments
Our method for your introduction to public speaking is to break it down into its constituent parts. There are nine of these parts and we learn about them and practice them one-by-one. We call these steps Assignments. We give Education Speeches where an experienced member will share the skills and pitfalls needed to complete each one.
Every member proceeds though the assignments, each one being Evaluated by an experienced member. The evaluations are supportive, not judgmental, and the speaker is given advice and guidance. Sometimes an assignment will need to be repeated to improve on certain points, but most often the speaker is asked to move on to the next assignment.

When a speaker has successfully completed the first five assignments they will be awarded an Interim Certificate of Achievement.

When a speaker has successfully completed all ten assignments they will be awarded an ASC Certificate of Achievement. Advanced speaking techniques now open up.
